FOUNDER

The brand was founded by a woman whose life changed through the trades.

After years of instability and dead-end work, entering the trades meant learning fast, showing up consistently, and carrying responsibility without guarantees. It meant early mornings, long hours, and earning respect through action—not words.

That experience shaped the foundation of TAKEHOLD — and how it continues.

Our WHY

The People

TAKEHOLD was built for people who refuse to be defined by what they survived.
Not everyone starts with options. Some start with disadvantages and very little room for error. Resilience is forged through setbacks and comebacks—and we know that firsthand.

We believe work should do more than pay bills.
It should build skill, create pride in what you produce, and lead to stability that holds.

The trades changed our lives because they demand accountability, discipline, and ownership. You earn your place. You show up. You learn. You build something real—with your hands, your body, and your life. That matters.

The Line We Hold

TAKEHOLD stands for women and people from underserved, underrepresented communities who are ready to work, learn, and take responsibility for their future. This isn’t about handouts. It’s about access—to skill, to opportunity, to work that leads somewhere solid.

Every piece helps fund opportunity, strengthen working-class spaces, and reinforce the belief that effort plus access changes lives.

Through apprenticeship scholarships, community investment, and hands-on support.

The goal is stability.
The goal is freedom.
The goal is a life that doesn’t fall apart when things get hard.

If you’ve earned your platform and want it to mean something, we’re building pathways that last longer than attention. Partner with us.
